Witch Hunter Robin...
Anime Relations:
Witch Hunter Robin
Well holy shit. This show is probably one of the best i've seen. Now, because I suck at writting its really hard for me to describe what this shows about, so i'll just let you do some research on that :P
However, one of the things I love about this show is how all the episodes (up until about 13) have told and finished thier story within the space of an episode witch has been perfect for me cause ive been watching it before school (Yeah, ive had to get up at 0630 instead of 0730 to fit in Anime. I hate exams lol).
Now i've hit the 'main' story (The only way I can describe 1-12 is kind of like history and character development stages. You learn about Amon and Robin etc. and about the STN-J)
All I can say is this series has so far been basically perfect. Sure, the OP at first seems average but you learn to love it, the soundtrack is beautifully done. I'm watching it subbed so I cant comment on the dub. Just seriously, WATCH THIS SHOW.

I'm totally a random person, but hey I too am watching Witch Hunter Robin, so I want to comment...anyway...I would call episodes 1-12 interesting "witch of the week" style, and then episodes 13 and on, a story arch. The begining of it was a little worse (like episodes 1-4) because of all the "plot twists" and "mysterious" that I saw coming from a mile away. After the first few epiodes though it got a lot better. I like how even though the first 12 episodes are not really interconnected, they matter to the plot in the later half of the series. That was a really cool move on their part. Oh and I have the box set for this as well... |

Yes, this is a good show! I watched it several times years ago on Adult Swim, and it was one of the first titles I bought on DVD.I think the main story arc actually starts in episode 11, as there are elements in that episode that will play a key role in later episodes (where things will quickly get very wild and very weird!). The main story will be a bit complex and hard to follow at times... I think this is a story where it's really beneficial to rewatch it, as you may notice some of details that you missed the first time through, or at least gain a better understanding of them. The dub is fine, and watching it lets you really concentrate on the great mood being created by the art and the music... but the more detailed translations in the sub are a big help in understanding the complex parts of the main story. |
