If you're in London, or you're going to be in London with a few hours to spare sometime soon, this exhibition at the British Library is well worth a look. It's a thought-provoking reminder that our freedoms are pretty contingent things which we have to safeguard ourselves.

But even if you're not gripped by the concept, some of the exhibits are genuinely fascinating in their own right. They have William Blake's notebook and the death warrant for Charles I, for example.
