The next phase consists of choosing the recipe and purchasing the ingredients. The “beer kit” will explain what kind of beer it will generate and consists of all the required ingredients too. It contains a large can of hopped concentrate malt and a pack of yeast. Additional ‘fermentable’ might need to be purchased; they include dry malt extract, brewers sugar, liquid malt extract, demerera sugar, rice syrup, Belgian candi sugar. You will need at least 2 pounds, but no more than 3. You could find a beer kit either on-line, or at a brewing provisions store. The third step- Cook up some beer. Before you commence, cleaning and sanitizing everything is more than necessary. A dishwasher is a good sanitizer, but you can perform it the old-fashion style also. Afterward, let the process start! There are necessary 2 quarts of water brought to 160-180F, then taken from boil. According to the guidelines, add the beer kit and extra fermentables. You may ask your local shop owner for guidance on how to get what flavor you want.Stir continuously so that everything dissolves. To obtain sanitation, set a lid on the pot for 10-15 minutes on the lowermost heat setting.Add the contents of the pot to four gallons of cold water in your main fermenter and blend for 1 minute or 2, in order to help introducing oxygen to the wort, just before adding the yeast. After the side of the fermenter is cold enough, add the yeast and ferment as close to given setting range as you are able to. The 4th step consists of permitting the beer ferment. The wort will start fermenting for three to five days. After these 5 days, check on the beer each day to note if it’s still fermenting. Remark if the water in the airlock continues bubbling; if it does, let it like that. When there’s a gap of 2 minutes between bubbles, it’s a sign that the primary fermentation is completed. You may now bottle your beer.Secondary fermentation commences right after you place the beer into bottles. Make every effort to sanitize first and foremost everything that touches the beer and that you have a good amount of bottles for your new beer.A priming solution is necessary for enabling the surplus yeast in your beer to carbonate the beer, so having some genuine dextrose is great. Put 2 or 3 cups of water in the saucepan and then dissolve ¾ cup of dextrose in it. Boil the solution over regular heat, cover it and then place it separately to cool for a couple of minutes. Then put the bottling bucket on the floor and the main fermenter on a desk, chair or counter right overhead the bottling bucket. Make sure that the residue from the beer stays on the bottom, so do not shake the beer too much when you move it inside the fermenter. After that, assign the plastic hose to the spigot on the main fermenter and place the other end of the hose in the lower of the bottling bucket. Decant the fixing solution into the bottling bucket, and then open the spigot on the fermenter, letting the beer pass into the bucket and combine with the solution. After closing the spigot on the fermenter, remove the hose and get it cleaned up. http://www.how2makebeerathome.com/22/how-to-make-beer-at-home-lessons/ , http://www.how2makebeerathome.com/ , http://www.how2makebeerathome.com/16/how-to-make-beer-at-home-in-3-easy-steps/
