Naruto's EVERYWHERE!!

One thing I've always noticed when I'm browsing video sites and such, is how Naruto always seems to pop up. Often with no relevence to what I'm looking at or looking for. Naruto's EVERYWHERE!! I got into anime about a year and a half ago, and I've resisted the temptation to watch a single episode UNTIL THIS DAY. I've always thought "As much as I'd like to know what it's all about, you've got no free time, ur already watching about 9 animes, so yeah, like I need to get hooked on a 220 episode series." I'm currently downloading 15 eps of Naruto... sigh~ I'm not sure if I'll like it yet and I know little about it, just that EVERYONE watches it. I clicked on ten random ppls anime list, 8/10 of them have watched it! See if you can get 10/10, I guarantee it'll happen!! I'm wondering whether I'll get hooked or not... I may still stop the download and save myself ^.^

Thanks for the messages!! I've now watched the first 15 episodes and I have to say that I'm glad I downloaded them. It's really really good. I'm actually pretty surprised cause as I was hoping it would would be good, and it's surpassed my expectations. I'm not hooked though... but I am downloading the next 30 eps ^.^

I think a lot of ppl have tried Naruto, but not everyone can say they've watched the whole thing. But having my TV taken over by a Naruto marathon has pissed me off lately. I think it was 3 or 4 days of Naruto. I'd like to watch something else please! And yeah I was looking for a image in google the other day and naruto was in my search out of the blue. Some days I feel like it's Naruto=Anime.

most people like it but its really over ratedif you havnet seen that many animes it might be a good start but once u watch some good animes u will find it pretty crappy |

it was the first anime that i can say i watched. it was on cartoon network here in the u.s. i didn't like it, but my brother in law convinced me to sit down and watch a few more. that's what hooked me. he downloads them, i however watch it when it airs here on tv. why? not to take away from the show, but it's easier for me. my son,(5), nephew,(9), and i sit down on saturday nights and watch it on tv.i know it will take forever to catch up, but i'm ok with that. i don't have to worry about them reading the subs and most of the blood is taken out, so i feel like a responsible parent. ;) plus they enjoy the show too. i think it's a good anime. i hope you enjoy it.

If it makes you feel better, a pretty big chunk of those 220 episodes aren't at all worth watching. It's a pretty good show - not the best, but I quite enjoyed it - until it starts into filler around episode 140 or so. The filler is really bad, so I'd recommend just skipping all of it (and going straight from 140 to Naruto Shippuuden if you're so inclined).
