80's overdose in two different angles. Action or romantic scy-fi sitcom. It's a rare comparation but follow me in this.

Two romcoms set mainly in an apartment with female landlady MCs that has another side to them that meets the eyes at first glance.
The apartments in both shows inhabit a variety of eccentric characters whilst the male MCs gradually grow fond of the inhabitants in everyday activities as well as getting closer to the female MCs.

The concept of an alien girl coming to earth and learning new things, meeting new people and living with the future main love interest, while a serious story in the shadows unveil itself over each episode to eventually fight for the ones who matter. Episode 1 itself has the favorable similarities from the get go.
