Toaru Ossan no VRMMO Katsudouki

it is very similar to Infinite dendrogram, where you can also do anything to pump, fight, arrange competitions and so on. very reminiscent of the main character, he is very pumped, trying to protect himself and his loved ones, while he is very friendly and able-bodied considering that these two games are in VR and the main character also has a very similar, strong companion as in Infinite dendrogram. 

Same as Shangri-La Frontier : A very very good anime which uses the principle of virtual reality and which is modeled on the very real NPCs but otherwise it still remains quite different 

- Both are vrmmo game based anime. - Both the MCs stand out for their playstyle and are smart with it. 

What the two works have in common : 1. both works are VRMO games. 2. the main characters of both works use special weapons called shields and bows. 3. although they started out small, they gradually gained attention from gamers and became famous players. 4. both works are light comedy fantasy game works.
