Both are about an all-girl group of friends at school, and uses weird and absurd humour. I love them both, they're really funny and surprising. 4-nin had much less success, so I hope some people who liked Asobi asobase watch it !

Both shows are absurd parodies of 2010s anime, where there are many references to classic genre defining shows.

Both series are comedies with a certain sense of the absurd, focusing on characters who are trying their best to hide their secret identities. Spy x Family includes family drama and spy fiction elements into its psuedo-historical setting, while 4-Nin is a school-based comedy and leans more into the absurd than Spyfa does.

Similar humor of girls being weird to a slightly unrealistic extent.

- Both involve a group of four school girls as the main characters - Both feature an alien and a telepath, although 4-uso splits these traits up into two separate characters as opposed to Yuu possessing both - Both have moments of comedy and drama, although Telepath is heavier on the drama while 4-uso is pretty much entirely comedy except for a few scattered scenes

They both have a similar sense of humor You can find the "found family" trope in both (although it's more evident in "gintama" than in "the little lies we all tell", i feel like that they both have this trope) The characters are amazing in both of these animes There are aliens in both of them, so there is a bit of sci-fi

Both shows are about a group of students with huge, insane secrets and the shenanigans that result as they struggle to maintain their facades. Both shows also include a military-trained alien and gags involving unexpectedly spicy, gross, or otherwise traumatizing food.

They both have the same type of humor. Definitely reccommend if you are looking for more good laughs!

Both of the male mc's were forced into becoming female by their sisters.

Both absurd, over the top comedies. Where Nichijou focuses mainly on exaggerating everyday experiences to comedic nonsense and putting its characters in a wide variety of uncomfortable circumstances caused by their own ineptitude, 4-nin focuses on a cast of surreal, otherworldly characters desperately trying to keep their secret lives from being uncovered and the comedy that arises as their masks begin to slip.

A cute alien girl descends to Earth and hilarity ensues due to misunderstandings

At first glance, both series act like normal highschool comedy animes. When you go deeper, you will find both series have unique and exaggerated main characters that are larger than life. This causes many insane and random situations that are great for comedy

Both are a comedy set in school, with daily lives and funny moments. The cast is interesting with unique personalities and is a fun watch.

a good and crazy comedy. Just enjoy the nonsense of this group of friends

Both are fantastic Gag anime. However, I would be much quicker to recommend The Vampire Dies in No Time since its a bit more well done and lacks the uncomfortable "moe" moments that is unfortunately to be expected of an anime about middle school girls.
