These shows for me were both very impactful and emotional, Especially showing us in different ways how even though that these ai might not be human the feelings that they experience are way more human than the rest of us. Plus the animation on Ai no Utagoe wo Kikasete is absolutely beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. (I really recommend for more people to watch this underated movie especially if you like plastic memories.) read more 

Both are movies that tells a stories abot young girls who has some problems related to their past. During the movie it start changing to better, and of course there is a lot of singing- which actually makes those movies so similar.
