Cosmos Pink Shock

These two OVAs have the theme of the protagonist traveling through space for her own purpose. They are very similar - even the songs are similar. 

Captain Tylor and Pink Shock are "shockingly" similar. Pardon the pun lol What i mean is that both shows are goofy space parodies that you can sit back and just enjoy.  

Both are 80's sci-fi parody OVAs which feature a red-haired protagonist and some great space/robot action scenes. They poke fun at the genre and actually are better than many serious OVAs of that time. The animation is some of the best of the period and there are some funny moments in both. 

Short silly OVAs full of over the top characters and negligible plot.. but a great laugh
