With large casts, multimedia projects, a unique variety of songs, and strong motivations for success, 22/7 and LoveLive have a lot in common. They're both fun, short, and full of both laughs and sadness. Every character is as persistent, determined, and hard working as the last, and it's fun to see them all grow as idols and as friends. Neither series worries about competitive jealousy and drama; instead, they both let the teams and individuals drive themselves to success. LoveLive is more plot- and relationship-driven, while 22/7 is more character- and mystery-driven.

story on both anime is focus on idol group. i think almost all anime idol always has drama on it, with similar problem about popularity of their group, conflict between member, etc. however the difference is how they solve it as a group of idol, how the leader take a part on it and how other member support their leader. this 2 title i found it pretty interesting on how they manage the problem, if you have free time maybe you can try to watch this anime. if i would give this 2 anime score, maybe 7 is pretty decent. not bad, but not amazing/brilliant  read more

- Both are somewhat music themed anime that have a hint of realism to them + both have a big mystery that is only solved at the end. - Both MCs have dark-blue hair, are very down to earth and try to deal with their personal problems, all while being part of a music group.

- Shows us several bonds of a group of girls having to strive in becoming idols. Having to start from strangers to close ones they'd then call 'family'. - They give off flashbacks of what each character had gone through in their tough times. Having to change, with the atmosphere of getting surrounded by their group of friends. - Art style are kinda similar (both show's come from different studios) Personally, i would prefer 'idoly pride' more than the other. But that depends on your taste ;). Aight, imma yeet- ( ͡⚆ ͜ʖ ͡⚆)

Both the animes are about Idols, but Theyre very different, both have a female cast, and when watching both of these shows, you always are on your tip toes (:. I love both of this shows and theyre so perfect. I feel like both of these shows are underrated, but i highly reccomend you watch them. PS: The Music for both of this shows are amazing and I have them on my Spotify.

A group of artsy girls who go through dark feelings. Definitely two animes that are way more than what they look like.

Both animes are female idol themed, start from nothing and build their way up. Re:stage! is more underdog development, and 22/7 shows more work as successful idols, but they're both fun and wholesome. Just a heads up, 22/7 has a slightly odd premise lol, sort of a mystery side theme.

If you want to see a bunch of girls rise from ordinary people to idol stardom, while under the guidance of a gruff-looking producer, these shows hit the beats.

Wake Up, Girls! and 22/7 are both idol anime obviously, both have good songs and characters that are in their youth. Both shows showcases the development of the characters and their idol group. Both shows have a management/organization that is a big influence to the groups and the story entirely. WUG is more realistic story-wise as it has a focus on the real life idol industry while 22/7 has a mysterious vibe.

Both series' are idol shows that are more drama focused, rather than focusing more on 'idol things' like music and dancing etc. They both also show a lot of personal drama, as opposed to conflicts within the group More so, both series' have overarching plots/lore that goes beyond the simplicity of basic idol shows

An assortment of girls (voiced by idols specifically gathered for the anime) are chosen to form an idol group under the command of a faceless, unknowable entity.
