Both series takes place in a fantasy world which demons eat humans and both main characters similiarly want to get rid of demons for their friends and family

Both are great examples on how to ruin an otherwise pretty good (in TPN manga's case) or outright top-tier (C;C visual novel) stories and turn them into inexplicably bad, cringe-worthy and rushed pieces of "entertainment" whose only value ends up being the decent animation. Chaos;Child anime is still way better than Promised Neverland season 2, in my humble opinion, but the letdown when compared to the source is comparable. The openings are both good, so that's that. I don't think I need to say this, none of the above applies to TPN season one at all.

Buckle up and brace for impact. These are endings you will never see coming.

If you're watching P5A and are disappointed that it sucks, don't worry. At least the whole story is there!

(This is meant for the second season of TPN) Both are extremely mediocre and heavily rushed fantasy stories with a generic art style that tried to show how brutal the world could be with theming about war. both features a Mary sue protagonist who previously lived in a peaceful environment however was thrusted into said environment. With a lot of supporters that go along with them

Both series are very good at throwing random plot elements into play with no real explanation behind them. Clear examples of brainless action over storytelling. Would recommend both series if you happened to be interested in series that have their potential ruined incredibly quickly.

Feels like a dip in quality, taking on a new sped through route. They aren't exactly horrible, with both still doing a decent job in handling audiovisual. However, these highly acknowledged series met the same fate. Would recommend both series for the reason of fast stories if you are interested in quick-paced works

The main characters have a similar personality and the smae voice actor. the story are a little diffrent but the way things play out is quiet similar to each other.

The scenery in the forest the children escape to, as well as the variety of unique flora and fauna present, remind me of the creatures in Made in Abyss. Furthermore, both series feature aspects of adventure/survival, with supporting characters such as Mujika/Oxen that serve as unlikely allies.

I consider both works a masterpiece. the similarity is that in both anime there are cannibal monsters and walls

Both series are set in a fantasy world where humans are almost extinct because monsters use them as their food. We follow our main character(s) as they try avoid being eaten by monsters.

Kind of dark story in somehow dystopic and emotionally heavy world. Group of kids trying to change how the world politics work. Great plot twists.
