Chuubyou Gekihatsu Boy

Both main characters want to live their normal lives, but they get dragged by these Chuunibyou/weird characters who give them a hard time. 

Bokuhaka and Chuubyou Gekihatsu Boy are really alike in several aspects. One of it and the most noticeable are the characters. Like this: Seri = Mizuki Hanadori = Yamato Tsukimiya = Tomoki And now both series‘ plot go something like this: Main characters obsessed with something (Seri: ignoring people ; Mizuki: making normal friends) but they are always interrumpted by someone who wants their attention (Hanadori, Yamato) and they are surrounded by weird people (Hibiki, Tsukimiya, Kimikage; Kazuhiro, Tomoki, and the others) who want to be their friends.  

New girl at school walks into a club filled with strange boys one day. Now she often gets wrapped up in the antics of the club. They both have a similar premise. 

similarities: 1. The same harem themed anime where MC deals with very odd harem members. 2. The same romcom where it has both romance and comedy. dissimilarities: 1. One is a usual harem themed anime while the other is a reverse harem themed anime. 2. The guy in Oresuki was hoping to have some romance, while the girl in Chu2 is hoping to have a quite school life, but both didn't go well as they intended.  

Those character have chuunibyou trait. both of them are in the same school clubs. Both of them have normal character that acts like tsukkomi 

Saiki Kusuo and Chuubyou Gekihatsu Boy have extremely similar senses of humor. I'm honestly surprised no one's made this connection. Both are slice of life comedy anime that focus on character archetypes. Saiki Kusuo is a bit of a long haul investment but it's composed of about 5 shorts per episode, while Chuubyou Gekihatsu Boy has full length episodes and a proper storyline.
