Both animes are about the subject of Basketball. Like in Slam Dunk you can view rivlary over the basket in this anime too. Both animes have some great basketball movement and both are really great to watch.

Both are about basketball, I'll/CKBC as an OVA is mostly great visuals but it is about friendship and rivalry too.
