Both anime take place at restaurants where a new hire comes in, and there are plenty of eccentric staff members already working there.

Both feature food tasting, cooking competition, japanese and italian dishes, a girl with big breasts, and tanned girl with big cleavage, a condescending loli, an italian guy and an old man who is the ultimate authority on food tasting.

Both anime about restaurant customers who are eat unknown dishes of eastern and western cuisine. In Piace: Watashi no Italian customers are people, and in Isekai Shokudoucu stomers are fantastic creatures from another world.

Cooking slice of life. "Emiya-san Chi no Kyou no Gohan" is about home-cooked meals (mostly Japanese cuisine) whereas "Piace: Watashi no Italian" is about Italian dishes served at a trattoria. "Emiya-san Chi no Kyou no Gohan" focuses on Shirou and his meal preparations while "Piace: Watashi no Italian" focuses more on the waitress Morina and the food she serves.

Slice of life anime about food and cooking. "Maiko-san Chi no Makanai-san" is about Japanese home-cooked meals whereas "Piace: Watashi no Italian" is about Italian dishes served at a trattoria. "Maiko-san Chi no Makanai-san" is more lighthearted and focuses on the live-in cook; anecdotes about recipes are also presented. "Piace: Watashi no Italian" is a bit of a gag anime and focuses more on the waitress; it also has shorter episodes. Both show actual images of dishes which are sure to whet your appetite.

The characters are quite alike, for example Tamaki and Ei have some similarities. Both shows also take place in mainly one space and circle of characters, so they're very lively to watch, both also include comedy, slight romance, and slice-of-life!

Both are short slice of life animes about food. Piace deals with Italian cuisine, while Bonjour is about deserts.

Both series have short episodes (3/4 mins), so you can watch them without taking effort. These two animes are about cooking or cocktail, explaining very well how they are made.

Though one is placed in a school setting and one is placed in a restaurant, they share various similarities. Both Animes have a duration of about 3+ Minutes. Both Piace: "Watashi no Italian?" and "Komori-san wa Kotowarenai!" are short comedic slice of life Animes with a cute female Protagonist and her friends. Both Animes more or less co-exist as Advertisement for the Manga Adaptions and their Spin-offs (as seen in the descriptions of each)

Restaurant based anime can sound boring, what's so interesting about working in a restaurant? Well, in these two anime, there's no way you could wonder about it. They are basically comedy anime, with interesting and unique characters, who share Italian culture, as in one the male lead is italian, and the other is about an italian restaurant. But there are important differences between the two: Piacevole is a 4 min anime, so less developed, while Blend S, being longer, focuses more on the relationships between characters. That being said, I think that if you liked one, you are going to enjoy the other as well.
