Both have similar themes: a group of friends from the future send something to the past in order to save a friend from certain death.

Serious time travel plot which main character tried to save the one he love and both come from the same style of Visual Novel

Both shows have the main cast in an astronomy club. Both shows also have characters that have premonitions about the future to warn their friends. The two animes have sense of mystery and with a bit of romance. The only major difference is that Brynhildr is focused on fighting.

In both anime time travel use to save someone. In Boku dake ga Inai Machi to save his mother but in Ushinawareta Mirai wo Motomete to save his friend. Also,Ushinawareta Mirai wo Motomete is a romance and comedy anime.

Both of these anime's have similar feeling to them. With the fate being decided but a will to try to change take both stories on and even doing that at the cost of others. They both may have happy tone but really under lying tragic tone and sad at times.

Both contain friends trying to help others. They each share a similar mixture of slice of life and fantasy. Yui is from 'another world' *ie: alternate timeline/future*, like Ushio in Clannad. Each have relatively sad scenes, though Clannad is much more tragic. Both anime have very good storylines and are very enjoyable - if you like Clannad, you'll like Ushinawareta Mirai wo Motomete.

Both shows are about a group of friends in a club dealing with supernatural/strange things from time to time. Also drama and romance is heavy in both shows

It seems like both of these animes have time travel in them and also, someone they love dies/gets hurt and both MC want to bring them back to how they were before.

-Both has something to do with life and death. -SSS club is same as the astronomy club, they solve problems in and around school which is many times with bits of fighting/violence. -Main protagonist has two girls which could end in a relationship. -Both have the theme of friends and going through misfortune. -Kenny really looks like TK. -They both give the same feeling in some way

Both anime are about their astronomy clubs. And both are romance, school anime; although i think Sora is more slice of life.

Both involve time loops with one girl returning to the same past to change the future. Both involve certain rules to change the past. While Ushinawareta Mirai is more slice of life with a hint of science fiction, Higurashi is more horror. Also Higurashi's story is much more fleshed out than Ushinawareta mirai and has better character development.

Both of them contain time traveling where a certain character tries to save another person. While Re:Zero is a fantasy anime, Ushinawareta has the action set in a normal highschool.

Small group of friends, two girls like the same guy, both have somewhat dark themes.

If I should say it simple: Both series have the same taste. Both stories are soft school slice of life that go around a simplified sci-fi concept like: time travel, paradoxes, the Schrodinger cat, Laplace demon… and the like. In other words, both focus on the live of the characters, "ignoring" the paranormal sci-fi events that began the stories.
