Both have the same male character who were good fighters and often itching for some action. Both male character's have a female sidekick who is seemingly a bit weak on the fighting side. Dissimilarities: The male character in one anime is already a superb fighter, as compared to the other male character from another anime has to undergo addtional training. The female sidekick in one anime is capable of fending for herself, but is often a victim of the male character's perversion, while in the other anime the male character respects her female sidekick. The male character in one anime is a gentleman, while the male character in the other anime is very aggressive with the girls. One anime has an extra romance genre, while the other anime has parody and fantasy as its extra genre.
