They're both spin-off series of extremely popular animes They have similar humor that's really exaggerated and over the top They have chibified characters Basically if you like one, then you'll like the other

Similar style of comedy.

- Both of them are spin-offs of action anime - Both of them are (at least trying to be) funny, or are trying to mock original show and characters - Both of the feature Chibi versions of original characters - Both of them are nothing like original show (but in my opinion, Rock Lee is way better than this)

In a comic version, these spin off, including winks to the plot of the original series and lead us to our characters to situations that are not logical and not normally we would see.

Although not quite similar in thematics both are parodies that make a prominent use of punchlines—even without seeing the original series you will laugh. I found Naruto SD more hilarious and absurd comedy than this one with outstanding episodes to more regular ones. If you liked Isekai or you found like me that from the half of the first season they became less hilarious I recommend you Naruto SD.

Both are absolutely cute and hilarious!! The chibi gag spinoffs if you will. It's a given that you should watch the main counter parts in order to enjoy these.

Whilst Naruto SD is a parodied series from the main series of "Naruto", Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei contains parody elements within the series.

Uses the known medias of archetype shounen tropes and turning them into parody for entertainment purposes attributing more possible elements of comedies, though Rock Lees own sitcom is reliant to the Naruto series itself (since its where their character techniques and world is introduced) though it only focuses on laughter and not making sense while Sunred have an arms of their own without going off in its comparison which is Power Rangers.

Although funny for their jokes too, a very crucial similarity between these two anime and also what makes them twice as funnier is both have reaction-based comedy (don't know if there is a word for this term) i.e. characters themselves criticize the jokes, statements made and the mannerisms of characters (comically). Plus both are episodic anime with continuing jokes. And ofcourse, they are a great choice if you're in the mood for something light and silly :D

Characters from popular action shounen anime redesigned as chibi and put in comedic situations, parodying the original show.

Characters from action martial arts series are redesigned into a super deformed chibi form and the show is remade into a comedy one.
