Main heroes in both series falls down from Heaven/Tower whatever. Both girls seem to have some unique powers but strongly deny it. Both reeeeealy need some continuation.

Both Anime have "different worlds" In Ar Tonelico the worlds consist of islands floating in the sky, while in Shining Hearts it is your typical "different world" and crossing dimension scenario. The art work in both are very detailed.

Both Anime involve singing and finding ones voice. Not to mention there is plenty of action. The designs are all intricate and have wonderful designs to all the clothing styles.

both are from RPG games in the playstation... have cute characters and magical/mystical powers to save the world... nice music and just almost the same plot... maybe about 10% ^_^

Beautifully detailed fantasy worlds that defy science in some manner.

The plot is nearly the same, and after all the ANIME series are based on RPG games. U'll have a wonderfull time watching both of them.
