Both series have very intelligent characters, who just can't express their true feelings or even understand themselves to the full capacity. A huge amount of both shows is dedicated to overthinking mundain situations and scheming social interactions. The romances in both are based on communication and compatibility.

Has a lovely romance story that progresses through the seasons, isn't boring as it has lots of funny moments, and in general it's just heart warming.

Characters have similar personalities. Both are Rom Coms. Funny monologues and jokes.
Both have similar comedy-romance stories
Both have a lot of heavy character development and also deal with after-school-club sort of thing.
They kind of split up after that, and so it's up to you to decide which one's better.
Oh and the soundtrack is amazing on both the series ;)

If you like to watch School/Romance anime then I recommend these two because these two are my favorite animes. And both shows get better when you watch every season. ( Both anime has 3 seasons)
