Lupin made a deal with the oil-barren John Dekker, and in exchange for Lupin stealing the US president's car, he was paid $10 million. Lupin breaks into a bank and steals the key to the president's car. When they discuss the plan with Fujiko, a giant truck crashes in, and Dekker's henchman, Ford steals it. Fujiko was teamed up with him, but he betrays her. Little did he know, she switched out the keys. Everyone heads for Washington, DC. When Fujiko checks herself into a hotel nearby, she's held hostage by Ford, and he explains he's going to pin the bank robbery, the key and car theft, and even the assassination of the president all on Lupin. Dekker's son, who fell for Fujiko, has followed her to DC, and Lupin talks with him and realizes what's going on. Ford, disguised as Lupin, steals the car and then attempts to commit the assassination. Lupin, who had kidnapped Dekker, drops him from the floor, making Ford panic and grab him instead. Zenigata runs in after tracking Lupin but only sees Ford, Dekker, and Fujiko. Fujiko explains what they tried to do, so Zenigata runs after them. Lupin rescues Fujiko, but unfortunately, no one gets any money.

Well, this is certainly an episode. I did not expect an actual presidential assassination. You won't really see this a whole lot in Western shows, I'll tell you that. I didn't really enjoy the episode, the stakes didn't really interest me. The climax is weird, like I really can't be like LMAOO, THE PRESIDENTS ABOUT TO BE ASSISSNATED LMAOOO. Like, uh, naaaah, I'm just not going there... Please don't put me on a list US Government 🫶




Yeah, this makes it even weirder. Like they named him Logan, he tells Zenigata to call him Ron, and I mean look at him. This was literally the president at the time like that's a little wild to me. I mean he hated queer people so whatever 🔥
