Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu 2nd Season

Evengelion and Re:Zero are very similar and unique for be Psychodrama genre with a showy background scenario, so flashy that make most of audience be distracted about what is the real focus of series. - In Evangelion people get atracted by Sci-fi, Mystery and Action, althought for the author what really matters is the disturbed mind of Shinji-kun. - In Re:Zero people get atracted Fantasy, Isekai, Time Loops and CGDCT, althought for the author what really matters is the disturbed mind of Subaru-kun. And the disturbed events of both series are built in order to interfere in the psychological of the main character. 

For the start, they were made in same studio (White Fox), beyond that, both have the same sadistic style; time travel (different ways in each anime) that torture them. If you liked Re: Zero, certainly you might like Steins;Gate. 

Season 2, Part 1 of Re:Zero- Subaru mulls over his mistakes and trauma throughout this arc. In the episode "Parent and Child", Subaru meets his parents and confronts his past during a fantastical trial offered by the Greed Witch. Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0 - Shinji mulls over his mistakes and trauma throughout the movie.Shinji confronts his father, Gendo, in a surreal "Anti-Universe". In doing so, the movie explores Gendo's tragic past and his similarities to Shinji. Both show use fantastical frameworks to explore the psyches of their main characters. Both characters are kinda pathetic, lonely high school boys forced into dangerous circumstances due to the plot. There's also some weird time stuff going on, but that's [SPOILERS].  read more 

Op has Realize vibes. Underrated and underutilized theme to go along hand-to-hand with an underrated anime being underproduced. Fitting. 

Both are series that center around time travel. While Erased is more of a real life situation with supernatural and Re:ZERO is fantasy, both feature the protagonists desperately trying to do what they can to save their loved ones. Both are also pretty dark and feature some mystery. 

Both contain a lot of gore, and have complex stories that span over multiple different universes and routes. 

Both explore themes regarding the life one leaves behind after they die, and the regret they feel over abandoning their friends and family. 

Both with a main character who used to be more or less a normal guy that gets sent to a fantasy world. Both feature cute anime girls (best waifus imo). ReZero is much more serious and can pretty dark while Konosuba focuses more on comedy.
