This fiction, both in Steins;Gate and in Occultic;Nine, is also of a similar nature, starting from concepts of classical and modern physics and addressing synchronization between parallel universes. In Steins;Gate, however, the theories cover the form and manipulation of Chronos, while in Occultic;Nine they are more focused on the nature of the Animus, the soul. - Coming from the same creators, both works share the narrative style. Steins;Gate and Occultic;Nine have plenty of similarities, despite being based on two completely different aspects: science research and paranormal activities. In both shows something that our main characters can't understand at first happens, farther both series are based on investigating the strange phenomena. Moreover both are a mixture of drama and comedy, alternating heart breaking and funny moments. fun fact: an occultic;9 character makes numerous references to steins;gate itself.
