Both Code Geass and Arslan Senki have the same core undertones to their plot, being an exiled prince gathering an army to take back what they believe is rightfully theirs. I will admit that Arslan Senki is less cutthroat than Code Geass, along with the fact that it is unfinished, but it is still a good watch nonetheless.

-Both MC's are prince's -focused on a lot of strategising but there is still fighting -terrible fathers -both exiled(sorta) -general atmosphere is the same -focused on revolution/war -empires/kingdoms/dictatorships -doesn't have a lot of filers -plot centred -intelligent MC's -Royal/noble drama
