Both series revolve around main male character, and their interactions with other girls that go to his school and such. Both series also feature many girls, all of which have some cute quirk to go with them, making all such cute and lovable characters. While Shomin's girls' quirks are used in result of not knowing what males are this entire time in life, Chuunibyou's girls are very used to boys, and get their quirk by their 8th grade syndrome, which tends to be embarrassing and very funny to the audience. I feel like both series are great and cute harem-like shows???, and I enjoyed both

Both Chu2 and Shomin Sample follow run-of-the-mill protagonists making out with what they can of a regular life, finding themselves in a situation far from normal, namely due to the eccentric girls they met up with. From there, comes a story with two normal protagonists directing a few through a more convenient way to interact with others.
