Add - More Alabaster no Kisetsu Despite its endearing artstyle, it's a truly dishonest story that fails to neither be a lighthearted romance nor a respectable drama. Despite its short length, the story is a convoluted mess of misunderstandings and excuses to justify the croquis-tease. The subplot about another teacher screwing his student (but this time its bad) only highlights the flimsiness of the main romance and how the story is incapable of being serious about serious topics. The fact that its a really shallow ecchi with a veneer of artsyness with all the heavy-handed classical art references makes it somehow more creepy than just the standard tits-in-your-face sleaze.

Add - More Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru Really sweet and dynamic romance + 'passion spotlight' story that really redeems itself after the first impression of being just a typical eroge/ecchi justification vehicle. I feel like this manga's impact of being another normalizing portrayal of teenage girls loving inherently misogynistic hentai spoils what it has to offer in terms of romance and previously mentioned highlight on cosplay as a hobby, but nevertheless as a story it's a really good read.

Add - More Chainsaw Man Publishing Arc 1 was a nice blend of shonen tropes with a strong visual identity even if the art at points could barely convey what the author was trying to show. The story kept itself together way better than most series but as usual the tokyo ghoul-esque restart voids all the impact of actually wrapping up the story.

Add - More Kininatteru Hito ga Otoko ja Nakatta Publishing Despite its nice art, this reads more as series of drafts for a story rather than a complete one, due to its incredibly short yet dense formatting. The author's obsession with western music gives it an unique angle but also paints everything related to the romance and characters with the same brush. This might well be the future of manga, where everything is designed to appeal into specific aesthetic/vibe for social media impact.

Theres a well-drawn ability-shonen hidden under all the (author's) masturbatory daydreaming, and its greatest sin is not having courage to commit to either. Instead we get this sleaze that wants to be read 'for the plot' as well...
