It's an original anime that later got itself some manga adaptions, that I didn't bother to read yet, but I can assure you that the main 12 episode series is really great. |

| Zankyou no Terror is my first choice for you. Darling in the Franxx, quite a polarizing title but I thought it was pretty good. Stretching your request quite a bit but Steins Gate fits it in a sense that there are sacrifices depending on the worldline you end up in. |
