I don't know why, but I like them as well. Isekai's have a MC that is overpowering the population using the knowledge of this world, it makes us wonder what we would do ourselves in that situation.

To me, anything that is memorable and makes me want to rewatch it, is worth enough to be a high rated anime. Just follow whatever you like. Everyone has different taste. Like me, i'm still crazy on shounen anime

No, you don't have bad tastes. Everyone has their own 'flavor' of anime that they are partial to. I enjoy isekais a lot (as long as they are done 'well'), my friend Raydon likes mecha and such, and we get along because we realize that we each have different preferences.

I like to live every day like it's my last.....and by that, I mean lying in a puddle of my own urine, calling for the nurse to bring me more pudding.
