Look this dub done by Media Factory isn't what I call a decent dub, it does have some standouts here and there like Whitney Rogers as Yozora but even then she has her problems in some respects that I just can't call this a good dub. Whitney's problem is that her Yozora is a bit too harsh in comparison to Marina Inoue's vers. as even Yozora at times showed her dere side, Whitney's is just far into her abusive side and not showing her dere side thus kinda had to give Whitney an A-. My biggest problem goes to Jerry Jewell as Kodaka...he just doesn't suit this character to be perfectly honest, Kodaka is suppose to be the delinquent yet not really type and it shows in Jerry Jewell acting sure, BUT Kodaka is suppose to have a mean-unintentional streak to him...Jerry does NOT do this well and makes Kodaka come out like a vanilla character when his Japanese counterpart did have more emotions than vanilla "helping and protect his friends" kinda a way (plus Jerry is kinda monotoned throughout and I "get" it that he's the main protagonist but here's the thing, Kodaka is kinda an interesting protagonist, monotone is the least I'd expect him to speak like).
The other voice cast like Jad Saxton, Alexis Tipton, Ashleigh Domangue and Allison Vikortin did a pretty good job but even then I see this dub as mediocre to below average of a dub from Media Factory. It's NOT the worst dub I've seen, but it definitely needed some work to make this a better dub, as such the script is kinda literal in some sense thus kinda makes the direction of the dub wooden in many areas (see Whitney and Jerry for prime candidates). STICK. TO. THE. JAPANESE.
Note - Seeing the dub vers. kinda showed me that NO SHIT this anime was ecchi (in the verbal aspect) as hell...watch with headphones on INDEED.
