Glimmers of a good idea, but ultimately earned its crap dub by being the kind of show that ADV or CPM would have quietly dumped on DVD & forgotten about.

Relateable daily grind of a put upon office worker. Sanrio get themselves on the right side of the #MeToo debate without really taking a stance.

The first half is agonisingly smug otaku masturbation. While the second half tries to spice things up, its attempts at "meta" fall into the usual trap of thinking an anime where characters say "this isn't anime" is a clever comment on anime.

A lame ending that feels there for the sake of having an OTT climax & absolving Rin of being complicit in Usamaro's fate, but otherwise it's a fun little story.

80s as it gets, but it depicts the dilemma faced by soldiers torn between civillian & military life better than any other anime I know of.

Two potentially good OVA ideas make less than the sum of their parts when combined for the sake of reaching 12 episodes

Relaxing reflection on genius & pursuit of excellence.

No "bad" vignettes but some feel very like padding.

Some production quality dips in second half. Indeed the final 3-4 episodes are a bit flat.

An OVA made for people who watched Black Lagoon with both eyes on the screen & one hand on their crotch.

Blood Lad? Bollocks, lad.

A second rate Slayers, but good enough to fill an hour.

Scatterbrained & tonally all over the place, but entertaining - like if Asterix the Gaul had sex scenes every 30 minutes.

Fun stuff, a bunch of cool ideas & Lelouch is a great anti-hero. But it's also bloated, a number of side characters have lacklusture development & it clearly didn't have an end point in mind at the start.

A rather slight film & the incest fakeout is an odd plot element to say the least, but it's a definate improvement on Earthsea & clearly a style Goro was more comfortable working with.

A fun, feature length episode

Better than expected, though it's less a crossover & more two stories that occasionally interrupt each other.

An hour of non-stop, no nonsense, balls to the wall action - held together by the bare minimum of plot needed to keep things moving. Only real fault is the artstyle & break neck editing at times renders the action impossible to follow.

The stop motion is top notch & the music is spine tingling.

When the world faces destruction over some pudding, you know you're in for some goofy fun.

Another fun, fight heavy installment.
