Classic shoujo reverse-harem anime set in a historical time period. 8/10, we love a bow-wielding girlboss. BUT WHERE IS SEASON 2 IT HAS BEEN YEARS

A childhood classic that's easy to binge and rewatch.

It's not for everyone, but I really liked it. Bonus points for being set in the Cowboy Bebop Universe. Great OST.

Could have been a decent show if not for the SA (and they're sisters??). When will writers learn that being bl or yuri does not excuse SA...

Almost worth a 10, if it weren't for filler episodes that drag out the premise.

Pretty good- liked the plot better than some of the episodes of the show.

Corny, & some of the singing is just ridiculous, plus there's a weird 1-sided-step sibling romance that we're going to ignore, but ultimately good fun.

Would rate this higher but the main character is SO LAME. Also I HATE the whiny, obnoxious dub voice actor. (Would have watched the sub but it wasn't available...)

Would be ranked higher, but just like the manga, the show should have ended when L died. It sure drags on after that point.

It's definitely worth watching, but not as insanely good as people were hyping it up to be. The world ended, it was all existential, so on and so forth, but nothing extraordinary.

Would recommend if you liked Mononoke, or if you wished the cast of Samurai Champloo wasn't a bunch of (lovable) numbskulls. OP is insanely fire.

The Dub was absolutely horrendous and that’s what made it a god damned satirical masterpiece.

Not a sports anime person but this show got me through the pandemic lol.

Beautiful little film that handles loss in a quiet, devastating way. Nice OST.

Used to rate this one lower, until I read the book and the movie made WAY more sense. Honestly prefer the book, but the movie does it justice.

As good as the 2011, but man the art style is hard to watch...

Hisoka is one of my favorite characters and I'm not afraid to admit it >:( While I certainly don't condone his actions, his character design is cool, his ability is awesome, and the arc he's primarily not in is lacking as a result.

An interesting twist on the typical detective show, with a hilariously apathetic lead. The main girl's shtick of wanting to know everything does get tiring after a while.

Season 1 of JJBA, so it gets a 7, but it's my least favorite part.

Teetering on the edge of being ranked a 6. It's one of the first shoujo anime I watched so it's nostalgic, but ultimately rather problematic due to its male lead.

2nd Season is better than the first.

Infuriatingly bad. Annoying af voice actors and a stupid plot.

I love this movie so much. I think it's a great movie for anyone who is insecure about a relationship, or is worried about losing friends after graduating.

Cute, but kind of problematic at times? Certainly better than other shows of its kind... Would give it a 6.5 if I could.

Perfect young-artist coming of age story. Beautiful to look at, like most Ghibli Films.

Probably the most interesting anime I've watched to date. Draws on Japanese culture from a multitude of time periods using animation styles similar to traditional Japanese art and theatre. 10/10.

People vs. Nature, the grey area between good and evil, etc. etc. A classic Ghibli film.

Trippy. A gripping psychological thriller (of sorts) where nothing is quite as it seems.

Peaceful and intriguing, with an air of mystery. A more grown up Natsume Yuujinchou.

A great comfort show, with an equally comforting OST. Similar to Mushishi.

Honestly I’m rather disappointed. The premise was interesting, and I had high hopes for it, and of course the art and animation were gorgeous. However, the actual execution was very sloppy- it felt like so many needed scenes were missing and the ending was just terrible. Way too many loose ends and unexplained plot holes, which is a shame because I liked the overall concept.

A movie dear to my heart, based on a book that is also dear to me. Not many people know the book, which is unfortunate, and the film is not what most people consider a Ghibli Classic, but it's niche enough for the right people to enjoy.

Not a huge AOT fan (pls don't come for me) but I think watching season 1 is a pivotal event in any anime fan's life. Rewatching it after knowing the context of everything is kind of an insane experience.

A friendship between 2 girls that perseveres through a post-apocalyptic world. Cute, though rather sad in hindsight.

Good- improves in the second season. Fun to spot all of the references to other shows, and eventually to other anime production studios as well.
