Add - More Ameku Takao no Suiri Karte House except with a Japanese girl with an annoying personality and easily irritated. Hopefully there’s something behind her young and short appearance. Is she actually a younger doctor? Or just an older lady who looks young? If the latter but with no backstory, then it’s shallow. just to appeal to the audience with a young, not quite loli and not go for a mature woman MC. FMC’s personality is too extreme. Really brusque in how she diagnoses the patients. With the mom who was overfeeding her kids vitamins, it could have been more tactful. Yeah it was bad and understandable to be angry. But the way she spoke and got a last jab in as she left was unnecessary. But that’s in line with her harsh personality. Parading around and calling herself a genius. Cares more about solving cases than patients of the hospital so she is and isn’t fit to be a doctor. Intrudes on her staff’s personal time to solve cases. What do you need a personal life for when your boss comes to get you before your shift ends to watch a dumb movie or makes you chauffeur them on your day off? The supporting male doctor is basically only there as a punching bag - literally and figuratively. So she doesn’t have to do all the medical speak, doesn’t have to drive herself around, and has a guard against people who would try to hurt her. Really dislikable personality. Not surprised they cast Sakura Ayane as the voice because she’s talented at voicing annoying characters. What’s with naming the FMC with a male name? Takao, really? And the house on top of the hospital is overkill, even if your family is a line of doctors. If you’re going to play detective, you probably shouldn’t go around the crime scenes and touch things here and there with no gloves on. Seriously compromising the evidence. The FMC going around these places with her childish casual clothes is weird to say the least. Her getting out of the restaurant booth by stepping on her staff’s thigh was really unnecessary. Superbly highlighting her disregard for other people.

It feels like a waste not to make him some kind of villain with a vengeance. I like that Isagi and Bachira are voiced by newbie seiyuu. I wish there were more new VAs in lead roles. Nothing against Saito Souma, Ono Yuuki, or any of the other veteran seiyuu. Maybe it’s for the merch? Not all players will be moving up, so something aside from screentime has to inspire the fans to buy merch and increase sales.

Add - More Dekiru Neko wa Kyou mo Yuuutsu Usually I don’t like Ishikawa Yui’s voice, but the annoying-ness is toned down in this role and it’s actually a little cute. The character design for the MC is plain but nice - even though she has regular brown hair, her eyes are a fitting green and her bangs are unique. Her liveliness is reminiscent of Neko from K Project (from the same studio). Honestly surprised that studio GoHands has two airing anime this season. Quite the difference when they usually have one, if any. Their trademark weird camera angles hit you in the face from episode 1.

Her personality is so wimpy despite being chosen by the gorilla god. The low self-esteem with thinking that she could never be with the amazing knight upperclassman Louis is conveyed in the most stereotypically shoujo and annoying way. It would be one thing to think that it’s impossible because of the difference in their social class - her being from a family with a good title but out in the boonies, but the whole “I’m not good enough” schtick is hardly likable. Honestly, she isn’t good enough - not because of her looks but because of her weak character. Kindness is one thing, letting people walk all over you is another. She’s always running away from bullies. Is this even a school for nobles with how petty it comes across? Her bullies don’t have class, the fangirls don’t have class. The exposition from the FL’s words generalizes the entire female student population as women just looking for good marriage prospects and nothing else. Are there no intellectuals? No female students that go to learn or enjoy socializing that doesn’t involve drooling over handsome guys? It’s honestly ridiculous that the FL does not have a single friend of the same gender. But that actually fits with the frustrating background! Making it so that knights are a naturally male-exclusive field doesn’t help either. Can’t find female friends there either. How can there be no women in a male-dominated field until now? It’s impossible that there was never a female student before with some animal god blessing that was suited for combat. The FL is “just not like other girls”. Disgusting trope that mirrors mainstream and social media. As of ep3: she looks exactly the same after her haircut. Can hardly tell the difference. Other commenters pointing out that all the other characters also have bangs that could get in the way but she’s the only one that gets called out. Hypocrisy as a result of poor animation decisions. As of ep4: really unbelievable that she followed another student all the way to a dingy building to look for an earring that she lost. Is that not suspicious in the slightest? It’s just not possible to lose one earring, look in the mirror and get dressed for a ball, and only notice you’ve lost your earring when you’re at the party. Exercise some critical thinking skills, woman! Her brain must have shrunk to the size of a gorillas or it was that size to begin with, hence why the gorilla god must have resonated with her. And instead of breaking out of the box, which she can easily do, she instead plans to sit there for the rest of the night because the girl who was pressured into trapping her will get into trouble if she escapes? There’s compassion and then there’s this dumbassery. She’s supposed to be helping with finding the potential bombs with her fellow knights. Just because it seems like there are none doesn’t mean you can sit on your butt all night. Not to mention, if you suddenly go missing, it doesn’t take a genius to figure out your friends will notice and try to find you. Which takes away time from finding the bombs. But of course, she being trapped will probably conveniently lead her straight to the bombs. As expected of the author. Ridiculous writing to move forward the story. Ep5: an unexpected but welcome surprise that the bullies sincerely apologized. Seems a little too convenient that they’re basically doing a 180 from their previous obnoxious behavior. “A student saw” what happened to her, but I think we can safely assume that it was Louis that reported it after hearing everything in his squirrel form. Of course, we as the audience know that he is probably acting cold because she confessed her feelings to him unknowingly. And feels awkward for some reason or another. Ep6: surprised that he just came out and said he loved her. Maybe it’s a translation thing because like and love are the same word in Japanese. Makes more sense for him to realize he likes her a lot and isn’t sure what love is and would like to date her. Instead of outright love. But I guess life or death situations will have a suspension bridge effect. Him never being confessed to is waaay too convenient writing. There’s just no way.

And from now on, the story will be the funny (attempt, not necessarily successful), wholesome moments of their lives together. Boring slice of life in a fantasy setting. Probably one of the trash shows of the season. Surprised it’s rated a 7 at the moment.

It’s crazy once you realize, yeah, a city in where there’s murders every day would be pretty messed up. I actually felt a little bad for the MC when he was scammed out of all his money. The OP is bizarre. Seeing the unknown figure from the main series dancing is really weird, since it’s like he’s naked and the fact that they outlined his buttcrack. Never would have expected Aoi Shouta to voice the MC. It works though, the series doesn’t feel too serious. Surprised there’s no rule against pets in the shared house and he was able to buy the dog.

Ridiculous that a farmer’s stats would be so high, and they give no explanation as to why. Throwing a carrot and exploding a dragon with the carrot coming out unscathed? That’s no normal carrot. The comedy is okay, they could work on the timing so the punchlines would land better. Don’t care for the CGI, but their normal animation is bad as well. This doesn’t look like something that is airing in 2022, more like 2010. The line art and eyes seem sloppy. Can’t be forgiven even if it’s intentional. The dragon stuff in ep 2-4 came out of nowhere. So ridiculous, shouting “I am a farmer” while attacking. Even though he’s a farmer, he doesn’t use farming tools to fight, he uses his fists. What’s up with that? Why is Enoki Junya taking these VA roles in all these gag anime? Kind of a waste of his talent too be in an unfunny work.

Add - More Re:Monster Not a fan of the harem aspect. Why all these women falling in love with the MC? He’s a run of the mill guy with morals. Getting that desperate? Don’t like Dhami - she’s super clingy and her abilities are overpowered. Controlling people by looking them in the eyes and mindbreaking them is an evil villain power. Since we don’t know much about the MC’s personality before this life, it’s probably safe to say the MC’s morals weren’t pure to begin with if this is something he can get behind. The foreshadowing of Dhami being a reincarnation of the woman who killed the MC in his past life makes me uncomfortable. Like that revelation could be made at any point and will probably come to light at the worst moment for dramatic effect. Kind of offputting that the human women are referred to as their job titles and aren’t referred to by name until they give birth to the MC’s kids. Like they weren’t worthy of being called by their real names until then. Objectified and only valued for their benefits to the group. Guess that’s not too far off considering they were originally kidnapped. The MC’s power of gaining abilities from what he eats is overpowered. Doesn’t seem like he ever struggles and his power-ups/evolutions are fastpaced.

As of episode 3, I do wish we could get more of her POV rather than just the normal stuff that happened in the original. Animation looks barebones sometimes. Could use softer lines in some basic shots.

Hope there is romance between the MC and FMC and no harem. The female mage that summoned everyone is batshit crazy. Hope she gets some major karma. The class president-type guy that trapped the non-magic users in the bus was surprisingly cruel and the writing doesn’t conform to the goody two-shoes trope, which was a surprise but at the same time, very much lacking in compassion. He could’ve been a little sympathetic. The FMC’s friend abandoning her seems very cruel as well, but we as the audience don’t know if they’re just not that close.

The ED animation isn’t better since it’s framed screen showing the scenes from the episode. Lazy. Ep1. CGI was kind of obvious. Seems like there probably won’t be any prominent male supporting characters that could be equals or friends with the MC. FMC’s voice ain’t bad, only sucks that it’s Takahashi Rie - why is she everywhere?
