'Tsuyokute New Saga' Unveils New Staff, Additional Cast, First Promo for Summer 2025

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Masayuki Abe's Tsuyokute New Saga (New Saga) light novel revealed new staff, additional cast, key visual (pictured), and a promotional video. Originally scheduled for Summer 2023, the anime will now air on Tokyo MX and ABC in July 2025.

Abe began writing the fantasy novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in May 2012. AlphaPolis began publishing the novel with illustrations by Ryuuta Fuse in April 2013. The tenth and final volume shipped in June 2018.

Jun Miura began drawing a manga adaptation on AlphaPolis' AlphaPolis Web Manga website in February 2014. The tenth volume and final volume was released in October 2022.

AlphaPolis is also releasing the manga in English through its Alpha Manga app. Volumes 6 to 8 will be released on February 29.
