The band flumpool has announced via their official website on Sunday that they will resume activity. It was also announced during a street live in Tennouji Osaka on Sunday.

It was announced in December 2017 that the band would take a break so vocalist Ryuta Yamamura could have time to treat the functional dysphonia in his vocal cord. After over a year of rest, he is well. The band held street live announcing the resumption on Sunday afternoon on January 13, coinciding with the day the band was established. They have also announced a national hall live tour that will include cities they cancelled last time. A new single is coming in May, but details, including the title, have not been announced.

flumpool is a band from Osaka that debuted in 2007. They performed in the Ajin series and the opening theme songs for Captain Earth and Infini-T Force, the latter of which was also used as the theme song for the movie. The band's song "Kizunakizu" has also been used as one of Minna no Uta's songs.
