Seiyuu Keiji Fujiwara Returning to Voice Acting

Talent management company Air Agency announced on Friday that voice actor Keiji Fujiwara will be making a return to his career as a voice actor. Fujiwara took a medical leave in August 2016 with an undisclosed medical condition. The agency further stated that Fujiwara will slowly resume his career while taking his physical health into account.

Fujiwara has been replaced in several anime series in the past couple of months, including Hiroshi Nohara from Crayon Shin-chan by Toshiyuki Morikawa, Shirou Fujimoto from Ao no Exorcist: Kyoto Fujouou-hen by Hiroaki Hirata, Hannes from Shingeki no Kyojin Season 2 and Isami Enomoto from Uchuu Senkan Yamato 2202: Ai no Senshi-tachi by Kenjirou Tsuda.

Active in the voice acting industry since the 1980s, Keiji Fujiwara has voiced characters from various media, including drama CDs, tokusatsu shows, video games, live-action series, and Western cartoons.
