Anime Movie Adaptation of 'Kuroko no Basket: Extra Game' Announced

The first issue of Shounen Jump NEXT! of 2016, which will go on sale on March 3, has announced that the basketball manga Kuroko no Basket: Extra Game will be adapted into an anime movie in 2017.

Extra Game, a sequel of the Kuroko no Basket manga, has been serialized in the magazine since 2014 and ends in the latest issue. The series is drawn by Tadatoshi Fujimaki, who initially began the serialization of Kuroko no Basket in 2008.

The magazine also announced that the first, second, and third TV anime adaptations of Kuroko no Basket will be summarized in three compilation movies this year.
