According to Mainichi news, the number of the exhibitors of Tokyo International Anime Fair (TAF) 2011 will be 153, down 40% from 244 a year earlier. 117 exhibition booths were canceled and the decrease in the income is expected to be 110 million yen ($1 = 83 yen). Some of the exhibitors are considering partial withdrawal from the TAF because of the boycott by the major manga publishers and the expected decline in the number of visitors.
