-Cgi and regular animation usage in the beggining was a little awkward but was cool after a while, movie really made it flow after a while

-Don't know how to feel about the whole "he did it all for love" crap

-The point of most of the shit in the movie? Nothing, almost everything becomes irrelevant and never talked about again. Only thing that really mattered was the ending. You could just watch the ending and understand the movie.

- Characters were ok, really liked the main guy and his friend who he met in Los Angeles, the girl wa swhateever to me

- Pacing was good imo. Nothing just came outta nowhere and f'ed everything up. Everything in the story was pretty logical except for the fact of how he just so happens to roll up on the sargeant talking SOOO loud. But everything felt pretty in place and not to rushed.

Put in on hold halfway through the show for about a month so I didn't enjoy as much I probably would've. But still pretty decent as a 13 episode anime. Just some things didn't make sense to me when I started To watch it Again. But still a 5-5.5/10

i think the stroy was less about the charaters and more about the plot nd how they interact with one another and how things ever so subtly start to chance as the years go by. also really liked the animation style, believe it really compimented the story being told, rough around the edges, crude, but you see whats going on clearly, also i think older animation kinda just has a special place in my heart lol. also i believe this is loosely based off some shakespeare just with the tragedy of harry, the delusions towards the end of the series and small other things but those two mainly, i was on the edge ofmy seatthe whole way tryna figureout whats gonna happen next. i will say sumn i wished for is maybe more dynamic characters or maybe some of the charaters were more plain to show the stark difference withother characters. the soundtrack was cool too, not the most epic thing ever but it def did its job, also to add this the first show in a minute that i watched the intro every single episode. idk what about it gets me, i think that it kinda sweells for so long music-wise along with the imagery being shown, and i want it to resolve and it kinda does but it doesnt, idk thats the best way i can describe it. and overall enjoyment was obv like a 9, was such an enjoyable watch, espeically the rag to riches part, what started this journey of a couple decades man, and just seeing how it all comes back full circle nd whatnot, wow. just wow

such good memories of when i first watched it n y i liked it n ting. also great that the characters are actually 20+ n theres no weird age gap. i just feel like a lot of nothing n everything happens in the story. like i like the setting and characters but i wish things were more fleshed out n done properly n better reasonings behind certain tings.

I watched this when I was like 10 for the boobs. I need to rewatch this for the actual plot XD. Although I'm pretty sure it'll still be just boobs.

Easily one of the funniest anime I've seen to date.

I understand it's more of a commentary rather than a story that's driven by characters.

Characters were flat but apparently there are series that explain the personalities of characters

Art was fantastic, really felt immersed In Their world for a moments of the movie. For 95, I think the animation and what not was done very well

Plot of trying to figure out what really is loving and exactly is life. Almost everything about the section 6 incident was really unimportant to what has been going on. The puppet masters journey to become "living" was the exciting part of the movie for me. The major questioning herself didn't feel real to me, it felt like her concerns for whether she was real felt kinda out of place. When she was monologing on the boat, it was so weird and random because they were having a conversation and she goes into random monologing.

As writing this I realize that I never took at the Majors pov. And since I didn't "get" the point of the movie.

Cool visuals, mainly stale characters, plot was interesting and didn't convey to me well, music was alright (sometimes a bit irritating.)

Overall: 7-8

As of finishing: really enjoyable tbh u just get immersed in the world, that 10 eps filler couldve been shorter, i hear others dont really like it, i dont see it personally tho

pretty cool premise n all, feel lik the first half was a solid 8 for a show but the second half gets messy with pacing, character development, and explaining why things are the way they are. still goodwatch but damn wish the later episodes were as solid as first half.
