I decided to give it a try cause I liked the child's character design (I don't know her name). Needless to say, I did not care for it. The girl's character design is ok, it looks better in still images than in the anime (as most do), but everyone else looks like shit. And god do I hate the weird, bright, modern look of the anime. It's a horror for christ's sake, it needs to be gritty and gloomy, not look like a budget takagi-san (in a sense that the color palate and everything other than character design is the same, not that it looks anywhere near as good).
