'Rikei ga Koi ni Ochita no de Shoumei shitemita. Heart' Reveals Additional Cast, First Promo for Spring 2022

The official Twitter of the Rikei ga Koi ni Ochita no de Shoumei shitemita. (Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It) television anime revealed a pair of new cast, the first key visual (pictured), and promotional video for the second season on Saturday. The new season, subtitled Heart (r=1-sinθ), is scheduled to premiere in April 2022.

Marina Yamada (Sayonara Watashi no Cramer) and Yuki Kaji (Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san) are joining the cast as Midori Fujiwara and Chris Floret, respectively.

Tooru Kitahata (Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai Next) is returning to helm the second season at Zero-G. Rintarou Ikeda (Tejina Senpai) is handling the series composition and script. Yuusuke Isouchi (Rikei ga Koi ni Ochita no de Shoumei shitemita.) is serving as the character designer and chief animation director.

The anime series adapts Alfred Yamamoto's romantic comedy manga, which began as a one-shot on the Comic Meteor web magazine in March 2016 before beginning regular serialization in May that year. Flex Comic shipped the tenth volume on July 11.
