'Cider no You ni Kotoba ga Wakiagaru' Reveals Main Cast, May 2020 Premiere

The official website for the previously announced film Cider no You ni Kotoba ga Wakiagaru revealed the main cast members along with a new visual (pictured right) on Monday. Somegorou Ichikawa will be voicing Cherry, and Hana Sugisaki (Mary to Majo no Hana) will be voicing Smile. The film is set to release in Japan on May 15, 2020.

Synopsis
On their 17th summer, a boy who isn't good at communicating with people and a masked girl meet at a suburban shopping mall. This is the "boy meets girl" story about Cherry and Smile, who close the gap between each other through words and music. (Source: Official site, edited)

The film will be produced by Signal.MD and Sublimation, with Kyohei Ishiguro (Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso) in charge of the direction. Other staff members include character designer Yukiko Aikyou (Accel World), scriptwriter Dai Satou (Lupin the Third: Mine Fujiko to Iu Onna), and Kensuke Ushio (Devilman: Crybaby), who will handle the music.

Cider no You ni Kotoba ga Wakiagaru is part of a commemoration for the tenth anniversary of Flying Dog.
