Does Shinichi Sakamoto genuinely think that every modern-era European was homosexual? I dunno, but this manga's cool I guess. I'm going to read the original novel soon to see how it compares.

Lots of potential, but I'm tempering my expectations.

Character dynamics and worldbuilding have a lot of potential, some of which has been reached. The art isn't great; the liberal use of effects and CG doesn't go well with Matsumoto's style.

Man, what's even the point post-conviction? Guts' teammates were kinda interesting but they become boring after joining him. Millennium Falcon and Fantasia feel like filler, and while the art is slightly worse since the passing of Miura, the storytelling quality hasn't decreased at all because it's already been mediocre for half of the manga at this point.

Some decent characters and great art mixed with bad worldbuilding and plotting.

Honestly pretty good, but I wish it would stop referencing modern-day things.

I'm not entirely disappointed with the current story, but not much of this has really shown that a continuation was warranted, and now half the manga is something I generally don't care for (aside from Denji and Asa's relationship).

Is it a requirement that every shounen that starts pretty good gets overly indulgent in its massive cast and convoluted battle system as it progresses? At least this one still has some decent writing and awesome art, which many other series can't claim.

A little overrated from what I read. Sakamoto Days is better and even Undead Unluck is a bit more interesting.

Pretty good so far. The heist style has a lot of potential, I really enjoy the characters so far, although I think the stands haven't been the most creative. There's a lot of potential her though.

Honestly doesn't feel like an Asano manga. Similar to Dead Demons, but it lacks the pure emotional value that underlined the cynicism. I hope this picks up because I do generally consider Asano to be one of my favorite mangaka.

This could be a masterpiece if it was shorter and Oda didn't have some pre-conceived notion of what shounen must be that inhibits his work. Still pretty good.

The games themselves are great, but the writing could be a little less blatant. A series with Liar Game's symbolic commentary and this series' mind games would be a classic.

After Build King crashed and burned, it became clear to me that this guy makes extremely generic shounen that features a zany hook that doesn't actually matter at all to the story.

This is like if Live-A-Live was a comic and also good.
