Definition of parody so I'm giving it a pass, middle is weak and concluding arc is WTF?, first & last episodes are great, 6.5/10

Story: 6/10 (has the right pacing for its intended length (otherwise it would take another 1-2 hours and be like the 1996 Hamlet.) but the conclusion seems rushed and open-ended, honest to show that it's a simple fairy tale, would have done better if the movie started immediately with the wolf children or a tight summary of the first arc (wolf dad and mom intro)),
Character: 6/10 (very simple and typical and the focus is off, maybe the first part should not have been there and the movie should have focused more on the children),
Art: 10/10 (flawless artwork, design, background, animation, effects, etc.),
Sound: 8/10 (refined OST and great (or excessive) use of it)
Value: 3/10 (can be re-watched several times with friends and family with little entertainment value lost, memorable in its directing and execution but easily forgotten)
Enjoyment: 6/10 (goes up to 8 or more if and only if one watches it as intended)
