1st Impression: 6/10. I have mixed feelings about this one. One one hand, I really like generic isekais. I hope the MC gets overpowered as a farmer. That'd be entertaining, imo. However, he's a bit too edgy, for my liking. This whole "That city" shtick & his creeper smirk isn't an endearing trait. It's like he's trying to be the jilted & jaded isekai protagonist, like Naofumi. I'll need to see more of his backstory, to see if he's a tragic hero, or just some edgy teenager. Wasn't awful, but time casualty

1st impression: 6/10. Pretty lackluster 1st episode. I was waiting on few more episodes, since the start was so generic, but the talking cat killed any expectations I had. Hopefully its not a total clusterfuck. Also I find the MC's design unappealing. I do enjoy the inside look at the anime industry, and even though the evil student council is an intentional gag, it's already out stayed its welcome

1st Impression: 5/10. Idk what I was expecting, to be honest. I thought the premise sounded whacky & cute, which it was. But the animation is flipbook, the gag reactions would be amazing if animated properly, & the gratuitous panty shots were uncalled for.

My 1st Impression was pretty bad. I thought it was boring & all the characters were bad. I was right. The entire cast was unbearable, the action was nonexistent, and they damn sure dont look like middle-schoolers. The drama was WAY too heavy for an anime about baseball.

Pretty generic 1st episode, complete with a pussy-looking MC. The whole "falling in love with a soulless machine" angle has me cautiously optimistic that the series may surprise me and turn into something special. Time will tell

Black Clover
Studio Pierrot?....so....filler, and total plot assassination? Yay. I just hope that Naruto 2.0 doesn't make Yuno into a Sasuke clone. After the 2nd Ep, I felt Studio Pierrot's influence, and that's concerning. They milked those 1st 2 episodes for all they're worth. I felt as if the 2nd Ep was almost completely unnecessary

1st Impression: 5/10. Not God awful, but not up my alley. I hate anime where the MC is shit all over & demoralized because his classmates are eccentric assholes. I hate those kinds of character dynamics. The MC inexplicably having cat ears & a tail seems pointless as well. I imagine every episode will produce sighs in abundance. It's no Chuunibyou. Hell it's not even Shun from the Disastrous Life of Saiki K.

1st Impression: 4/10. The cast fucking kills whatever chance this anime had. Simply put, the MC sucks. Just your garden-variety pacifist, who was gifted incredible power. He's weak, lame, & a momma's boy. Just another whiny, pansy, who was gifted an extraordinary power. As far as the side cast goes, Hiiragi is a bitch. Bitchy, stupid, & a wannabe hero. The girls don't really stand out. As for the plot, its pretty generic. Our MC is looking for something, joins a group of people in a similar spot, etc. They never did explain why the Buranki were so bad, though. The CGI pisses me off. Mostly the character designs and some extremely stiff movement. Dropped

Digimon Adventure:
Coronavirus postponement... 1st Impression: Tbh, I was somewhere in the middle. It wasn't bad, or anything. I'm glad they kept all the characters. Seeing Tai, Matt, & the gang will be pretty cool. The fight choreography & animation was pretty well done, too. I'm not sold on the new story & setting yet. Half the fun of the original was learning about the Digital World & its inhabitants. It's like they wanted to remake the original, but leave out the Isekai bits

1st Impression: 5/10. Animation was solid. The characters on the other hand, were trash. Shuu was a shitty lead. Lazy, boring, & and bum. The vampire girl was cute, but I hate yandere. All that talking about killing herself, while she's simping for the MC was a hard watch. Idk how characters like Shuu get 1 girl interested in him, let alone 2. The vampiric transformation was pretty good but the MC himself did virtually nothing. He's just a battery for Kisara. Hopefully their terrible personalities & relationship won't ruin a series w/ decent production value.2ep in, & they introduced another shitty character(student council prez). The way Kisara let her friends think Shuu was abusing her & stealing her money was disgusting. Terrible characters

Garo: Guren no Tsuki
The animation style took a complete 180 from its predecessor, & the character designs are shit. Kintoki is going to be an awful character, & I hope the action improves. Seimei is the only redeeming quality, thus far. Hopefully, that changes. In the end, I just couldn't watch 26 episodes of something I hated. I backlogged it for a few weeks, & finally decided to call it quits. In an anime, good or bad, I usually find at least one redeeming quality. Whether there is a character I like, or an interesting premise, I try & latch on to something. This series had none. No good characters, a plot & animation style FAR worse than the original, & a stale MC is more than I can handle. I hate dropping anime, but oh well.

1st Impression: 5/10. I'll give it this; the art & character designs are great. The girls all look cute. However, this series is going to be a absolute clusterfuck of the lowest quality. Rent-a-girlfriend is one of the worst concepts I could imagine to build a series around. Between this & Peter Grill, this must be the NTR season. The premiere was awkward, annoying, & cringy as fuck. The MC was an absolute scumbag and no amount of character development will make me like him. The drama is going to be painful and at the forefront. I just can't see an episode that won't be seeped in drama, w/ God awful, unhealthy relationships abound. This series is gonna be a train wreck 100% & just the concept alone nets it a terrible score. Due to time constraints & an overall terrible premise, I'm not gonna watch

1st Impression: 5/10. Although I have mild hope for the Special 7,the MC is such a garden variety, beta. Idk how you're supposed to enjoy watching characters like him. They're so preachy and they parade around like moral Jesus. Hopefully the tertiary cast saves this series.

1st Impression: 8/10. I'm fully expecting this score to plummet, because there's going to be a few shitstorms along the way. I'm pretty sure that the MC's friend is Takasaki's arranged partner. Lilina is absolutely precious, and if said shitstorm doesn't happen, she'll be best girl. The actual premise itself is pretty interesting, and feels like a realistic possibility in the not too distant future.

In anime like this, w/ a diverse cast of characters, you normally find at least a few of them that make the series more enjoyable. Whether some badass, w/ excellent fighting ability, or a witty, clever, wise-cracking troll. Too bad the creators of this series failed. This has got to be the worst overall cast of characters I have ever seen. Ever single one of them are annoying, useless, or just plain stupid, to the point that the entire anime suffers as a result. I want them ALL to die, and if they don't, I'll be disappointed. The horror/psychological aspect takes a backseat to outlandish characters, who do nothing but piss me off every few seconds. Whether its Execution Girl, the Tsundere, Mr. Chuuni, the overly attached couple, pukegirl, the guy who thinks he's the MC's mom, or our useless MC himself...I hate them all. The 1st Ep was decent, but that's about it. The mystery will have to remain a mystery, because I can't watch this garbage. Dropped

Trickster: Edogawa Ranpo "Shounen Tanteidan" yori
Overzealous MC, annoying, bratty, edgy secondary MC, stuck-up crip secondary character, and another anime based off of Edogawa Ranpo. I tried. Our MC was not only blessed with ADHD, but also the temperament of a 5yo. Right down to the most over-the-top and poorly thought out temper tantrum I've ever seen in anime.

Urasekai Picnic
1st Impression: 6/10. The concept is okay. The idea of exploring the unknown & the mysteries that surround it, are always interesting. That, plus the atmosphere are really well done. However, I'm not sold on either of the MCs. Neither one really stands out & I'm almost positive there's going to be teenage angst interspersed throughout. I hope they prioritize the exploration & world building over the drama.

1st Impression: 4/10. Might be the most boring 1st 2 episodes I've ever seen of an anime. Shame too, since the character designs were pretty nice. The one time there was action, the visuals were pretty nice. I just can't get over how uninteresting the characters & premise itself was. I mean there's magic & an enemy, so why's there no action or intrigue? Too boring & not enough time. Dropped
