Add - More Fate/Zero 2nd Season This would be a 7 but the ending was very... different. As a result of the excellent set-up for the next part of this epic story, I have decided to raise this to an 8. The battles are definitely superior to the typical battles of flagship battle anime. However, this lacked the potency of the 1st season, which I awarded an 8. Characters: 7/10 The character variation in this anime was well done. Ranging from the crazy psychopaths to the righteous saber. However, the characters themselves never developed with the exception of the protagonist since we are given his background in the middle episodes. As well as the main antagonist and master of Rider, to a lesser degree, with their character arcs developed throughout the story. Animation/Art: 9/10 The artwork of this anime was truly stunning during the battle scenes. Meanwhile during any non-action scene, the setting was typical and average, but I believe that is what it's supposed to be like. Therefore I gave it a 9. Story: 8/10 The story included a variety of stories ranging throughout mythology. However, there was no real tension created or powerful moments in my opinion. There were some shocking moments I guess but they were short-lived and had mediocre-depth. Intro/Music: 7.5/10 Good not Great
