Third Higurashi Season Announced

The Japanese Animate.tv website, location of the official Higurashi no Naku Koro ni franchise, has announced that a third season has been greenlit for production.
As of yet, no details have been released or decided, but that viewers can expect to see more Higurashi sometime in 2008.
