According to Fuji TV, mangaka Fujimaki Tadatoshi received threatening letters along with a liquid, which smelled like hydrogen sulfide. The letters were sent to his studio, Toyama High School, and Sophia University, which Fujimaki graduated from, and the sender criticized Kuroko no Basket. The letter said, "Fujimaki deprived me of everything." If he continues to make the parody manga, I'll attack him with hydrogen sulfide." "If the studio continues to publish the parody manga of Kuroko no Basket, there will be an attack with hydrogen sulfide." (Corrected the text.)
