Some time in late September, a live-action adaptation of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable was announced in a Tokyo press conference, with legendary director Takashi Miike slated to direct, and Kento Yamazaki in the lead role of Josuke Higashikata.
The film, a co-production between Toho and Warner Bros Japan (the first of its kind), will be released in the summer of 2017 to mark the 30th anniversary of the original manga.
Below is a 15 second teaser that cobbles together footage from the press conference and somehow makes us all less excited for the movie than we were before. If you don't have anything good to show us, don't show us anything at all! But...at least they tried?
