great until the end of the baltic sea war arc, where it proceeds to fall off a cliff in quality - although, recently, the chapters and plot progression has been quite solid. The dynamic between the uh, Vinland settlers and natives is most intriguing (yes they actually go to Vinland, crazy)

Has strong parts, especially the visuals and art, however it is ridden with homosexuality and transgenderism - I am unsure if that is a result of it being set in France or simply an intentional error on Sakomoto-sensei's part. There is only one arc in the entire manga that makes me like this travesty, that being the arc with Damiens in it. The rest hurts my brain to look at; completely aimless, decadent, and revolting. The ending is wack and came out of nowhere, too. I felt absolutely nothing reading the ending, just tiredness.

Poetic masterpiece that covers not only the reality of rock climbing (including many techniques) but is so damn romantic that I have quite frankly fallen in love with it. Written EXTREMELY well.

not only did the anime completely miss 75% (minimum) of this manga's content, but the manga itself is so excellently written. there is a deeply embedded sense of poetry throughout that peaks towards the end and acts as a coup de grâce. fantastic.

went from martial arts masterpiece (ashura) to pseudo-shonen nonsense (omega), but still good. also suffers from OUT-syndrome where the main character disappears never to be seen again

The story is alright but this manga appeals exclusively to porn addicts. There are panty shots every 10 panels almost and it is absolutely sickening to constantly see. Worthless manga as a result, in all honesty.

one of the main characters is revealed to be a tranny in chapter 5. dropped it, but picked it back up out of curiosity. theres a crossdressing scene as well. avoid if youre normal
