Blue Period is one of the best manga I've ever read. The art is beautiful. It not only gives you insight into an artist's mind but also manages to captivate you just as well as the characters claim. The paneling is especially amazing, I don't ever doubt what order to read the panels, so it's an extremely smooth experience overall. Blue Period takes what makes human passion beautiful and lays it bare in front of you. Every character is the same, they're all human. Talented or talentless, we all get stressed when making life-altering decisions, and we all break down once and a while. Blue Period emphasizes the strength and weakness of the human spirit and does an amazing job of showing what makes each person different from one another. I feel that experiencing this work in manga form is important, it's just an experience like no other. This manga has brought me to tears so many times I wonder if people are crazy for giving it the rating it's got. The fact that I didn't even HEAR about this manga getting an anime is fucking ludicrous. | 9 | 20

So far it seems great. It definitely doesn't downplay the seriousness of the main topic, which I really appreciate. I don't know where it's going but so far I love it. | 9 | 7

23 | ![]() | [Oshi no Ko] I originally expected this manga to go in a much different direction. I expected something similar to Kaguya-sama, something pure and wholesome. Though it did not go in that direction I am really enjoying it. I kind of wish I could see what the story would be like if not for Aqua's fucking canon event | 8 | 96
