Despite a bad tactic of advertising by CN/AS, I actually did enjoy this series.

The bad advertising was CN/AS trying to push this as a heavy action series, when there's more drama to the whole story and maybe 5 minutes of fight time in most of the episodes.

Kannagi
Someone's got the right idea, going back to the roots with the style of animation here. The old school, Miyazaki style that drew me to anime in the first place. Even the CGI is so unobtrusive in this series.

Once again a series touched too early by Funi.

Unlike Slayers, I'm not so sure I'm gonna pick this one up after its release. Big plot hole (or gaping canyon) in that it takes a Shikabane to kill a Shikabane, yet one is doing this with a pair of normal submachine guns?
